3 stretches to do at your desk

If you’re someone who spends at least several hours a day seated in front of a computer monitor, you should know you are at high risk for suffering from pain and cramps in your back and neck – which can range from slightly annoying to downright debilitating.

Did you know that you can keep the pain at bay by doing some simple stretches right at your desk?

Here at Sportize.me we teach 3 basic stretches you can do at your desk:

1. Make a “no” movement towards both sides.

2. First, turn head towards one side; hold position for a second.

3. Turn head to other side and hold for a second.

4. Return to starting position with head facing forward.

As you can see, neck and back stretches are very easy to do and very beneficial as well.

Don’t forget to take one 5-minute break for every hour of work to get up and walk around a little, moving your joints and preventing stiffness.

And don’t forget to maintain good posture at your work as well as in daily life.
