In a standing position, with dumbbells we incline sideways without twisting trunk.
Step by step
1-In a Standing position, legs semi-flexed, hold dumbbell with your hands and place the other one behind your head.
2-Make a lateral trunk flexion towards the side of the dumbbell lowering it to knee level, and do this movement on the opposite side.
3-Hold dumbbell with the other hand and repeat movement.

Extended Explanation
Standing with legs slightly separated, one hand behind head and the other holding a dumbbell, do a lateral trunk flex with the side opposite of the dumbbell. Return to initial position or surpass it doing a passive flex of the trunk. Alternate series changing the dumbbell to the other hand without resting.
Basic Muscles Explanation
The oblique muscles participate in trunk twists movements and torso lateral flexions. These muscles are divided in external and internal and they cover the front and lateral part of the abdomen from the abdominal rectus to the major dorsal, and its fibres are located diagonally in a V form. Located directly under the external obliques they form an inverted V.

In lateral trunk flexions we are using the internal and external oblique muscles. When we include in this exercise, the trunk torsion at the end, the result is a challenge of the oblique fibers.
